And if your card is a Trigger, add after the "}" the line "global.TriggerUnit = X", the X being a number from 1 to 4, depending of the Trigger (At the moment, that number doesn't make a difference since the game is purelly manual.
#How to update cardfight area code#
You cand find that number in already existing cards (here, I found Link Joker is the number 24).īefore exiting the "}", there is two code lines you must know : first, if you wish to add a G-Unit, you must put the line "global.ExtraDeck = 1", to say your card is going to the G-Zone, and not the Main Deck (important since there are Grade 4 Main Deck cards). global.CardInClan is to say what is the clan of this card. Global.UnitGrade is for the Grade (from 0 to 4). And don't forget to get rid off alls symbols (like in "Your opponent s unit") to avoid the game crash (writte instead just something like "Your oponnent unit").

BE CAREFULL, the game doesnt like the "" symbols, so avoid them. You do the same with global.CardText to put the effect of the card. Why ? Because for the game, a means the start of putting a text on the game, and another means the end of the text. Since this file is readed by the game as a code, don't forget to put your card name with a at the start and at the end of the name (Writte 'Alter Ego Neo Messiah'). Global.CardName is, at it say, the card name. It's going to be the number of your card pic, made previosly (here, the pic name is "n5097.jpg", so we put CardStat at 5097). This part is not really difficult, but you need to be very carefull : one mistake can make the game crash.įirst, you need to fix a variable, CardStat. To continue with the same example, Alter Ego Neo Messiah is a Link Joker, so we open the "Link Joker.txt" file. For each card, you need to open the file corresponding to your card's Clan. You are going to see different text files, who are named same as the Clans. Now you must give to that pic the properties of the card : It is a Trigger, it is a G-Unit, what is its Power, etc. ? Don't forget to use the same name for all your pics (My Alter Ego Neo Messiah'spic name is "n5097.jpg" for CardSprite, CardSpriteMini AND CardSpriteMini2).īasically, you now have a pic. The only thing who changes here are the size of the pics. Just do exactly the same manipulation you did in CardSprite. If you want to add, like me, Alter Ego Neo Messiah, you add the pic and rename it "n5097.jpg", the next card "n5098.jpg" and do the same thing again and again.

For example, in version 1.99, the last "legal" card is Gravity Turtle, and the name file is "n5096.jpg". Then you rename it following the same rule. The only thing to do is to use Photoshop, Paint or anything else to make your pic the same siza as those of the cards already included in the game.
